If you'd like to index CSV files using logstash, it's fairly straight forward. You'll have to use the CSV filter plugin. I explain how to do this in the Appendix Section Lecture A.15. But you may not have to watch that lecture to use the attached configuration file and csv file I've provided in this example. Check the resources link for these files.

Make sure to rename the configuration file with the .conf extension NOT .txt!
